Gandona Estate is born from an estate that rests upon a sloping hillside. Their Pritchard Hill Winery sits high above the beauty of Napa Valley and Lake Hennessey – its vineyards, carved from the steep terrain and planted in four blocks, each possess their own distinct personality.
Growing up in Portugal, Manuel Pires spent summers on his grandfather’s Quinta in the famed wine region of Douro, where he made a promise to himself to one day live a life working the land. In 2006, Manuel made good on that promise, purchasing an estate on Pritchard Hill where he began in earnest the development of what would become Gandona Estate.

Regiis Ova Caviar & Champagne Lounge by chef Thomas Keller and Shaoching Bishop offers a whimsical approach to caviar. The menu emphasizes sharable small plates and snacks to be enjoyed with pre- or post-dinner drinks, or as a dining destination. Guests are encouraged to order caviar by the gram or tin to enjoy alongside their dishes. Servers help to curate the experience, suggesting caviar pairings based on flavor, texture and value.
The space, located in Yountville, is enhanced with an assortment of RH furnishings, conceived as a romantic feast for the senses, where exquisite dishes are presented in a lush garden setting or within a series of elegant lounge spaces enveloped in a palette of deep sea greens, rich organic textures and luxe sink-in seating. To top off the amazing menu and environment, Thursday – Sunday, evening service is accompanied by Live Jazz artists.
