If you’re looking for an insider’s taste of winemaking, there’s no better idea for your Napa Valley Vacation than Peju Vineyards’ annual grape stomp! Help the winery kick off harvest with team competitions, a farm-to-table lunch with the winery’s own executive chef, and best of all, a chance to literally get your feet wet in the most famous of winemaking traditions. The Peju family has been shaping and refining the estate since the early 1980’s (there’s a great interactive timeline here), so you’ll definitely want to stick around once you’re there! Don’t miss the chance to check out Peju’s famous wine portfolio, with one of the winery’s many flights offered in the tasting room.

Lobsterfest – August 19, 6:00 – 10:00 PM PDT

Pine Ridge Vineyards’ Rutherford Vineyard

Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds? This truly unique idea for your Napa Valley Vacation combines the rolling vistas of wine country with a fine meal, al fresco, of fresh Maine lobster! Cap the evening off with desserts from the winery’s resident chef!

CIA Chef’s Tour of Napa Valley – August 24, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM PDT

CIA Chefs TourThe CIA at Copia
500 1st Street
Napa, CA 94559

So often in Napa, we focus on the perspective of winemakers and producers, but try this idea for your Napa Valley vacation: how does a chef see our famous valley? The CIA is offering private tours guided by their chefs (you can bring up to 10 people!), to meet other culinary professionals from farmers to vintners as you sip and taste your way around town. For this tour date, your chef will be Sandy Sauter, who began her career at the famous Bouchon Bistro in Yountville. The tour will feature three or four stops, including a private reception at the CIA’s stunning Greystone location in St. Helena.

At Beau Wine Tours, we strive to provide you and your group with the best Napa Valley vacation ideas around. To expose yourself to the best of the region hire one of our private tour services and let our local guides find exclusive and the truly hidden gems of the Napa Valley. Contact us today!
