We have your plans for Labor Day Weekend in Sonoma County all lined up! Sonoma Wine Country Weekend, is the county’s signature charity wine event and a weekend full of world class wine and food. You’ll be up close and personal with the winegrowers, winemakers and acclaimed chefs. Jointly produced by the Sonoma County Vintners and the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Foundation, all proceeds benefit local charities. Since its inception, Sonoma Wine Country Weekend has raised over $12 million for charities that benefit students, children, farm-workers and people in need in Sonoma County communities. We’ve got you dialed in on the fantastic schedule of events that make up this amazing weekend. Winemaker Lunches, Friday August 29, 2014 12:30 PM

General Admission – $85 per person

General Admission – $125 per person

Kick off the weekend with wine, dinner and music under the stars, poolside at Francis Ford Coppola Winery. World-class wines, delicious cuisine, live music, and dancing with the moonlight dancing over the rolling vineyards of Alexander Valley. Toast the start of Sonoma Wine Country Weekend at the Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine reception as you enter. Nosh on bites created by Sondra Bernstein and John Toulze, owners of one of our favorite restaurants; the girl & the fig. Over 25 local wineries will be on hand to share their finest Sonoma County wines, creating infinite opportunities to create your own perfect pairings al fresco.

MacMurray Estate Vineyards

General Admission – $165 per person. $195 per person for Grand Reserve

Sonoma Wine Weekend goes into high gear with more than 200 wineries pouring thousands of wines, and over 60 local chefs whipping up divine pairings. Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Estate Vineyards offers visitors an opportunity to stroll the historic estate while enjoying wine seminars, cooking demos and more! Chateau St. Jean

The cornerstone event of Wine Country Weekend is also the largest and most fun fundraising event. This year is going to be wild as the Grand Lawn of Chateau St. Jean will be transformed into the African Serengeti. Your ticket gains you access to Wine Spectator Auction Tent full of Sonoma’s winemakers and their wines. This event offers the bidder a selection of rare world-class experiences and wines under the tent, and an opportunity to join their neighbors in the wine community in supporting charities that will build a better future throughout Sonoma County. Your donations support deserving Sonoma County charities aiding efforts to support youth and children to ensure their success, preserve our environment for future generations, and provide for basic unmet health needs and services which improve the welfare of our local communities.
