The O’Shaughnessy Estate consists of three vineyards: Howell Mountain, Mount Veeder and Oakville. The Howell Mountain vineyard consists of 100 acres of hillside property; 29 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and six acres of blending varietal. Mount Veeder consistently produces clusters of small berries and intense flavors. Acclaimed for their power and elegance, they also have lavender and violet tones. The Oakville vineyard grows white varietals on 30 acres surrounding their home. Proprietors Betty O’Shaughnessy Woolls and Paul Woolls fell in love with the property and purchased it in 1990. Today, O’Shaughnessy Estate Winery consistently creates world class mountain Cabernets.
