Napa Valley Wineries – Caldwell Vineyard
Love, family and a little mischief…that’s what Caldwell Vineyards is about. Located on a hilltop, 600 feet above the valley floor, Caldwell Vineyard was established in 1982 and boasts 123 acres of steep hillsides, rolling oak meadows and rows of grapevines. Bordeaux wine varieties are grown here and owner John Caldwell is responsible for introducing the most prized Bordeaux root stock and grapevine clones to California. Caldwell has revolutionized modern winemaking in the United States. Caldwell, along with his wife and winemaker Marbue Marke, now produce over 23 wines for the Caldwell Signature Collection, Varietal Collection, Rocket Science and the Society of Smugglers.
