… the next generation of cult wines.
For the connoisseur, the collector seeking out California’s finest ultra premium wines, we introduce our Collector’s Series of tours.
What do Screaming Eagle, Dalla Valle, Harlan, Colgin, Bryant Family, and Scarecrow have in common? They were once relatively unknown wine names, and due to their limited production, they were only attainable through word-of-mouth connections. Before they even received a 97-100 point score by Robert Parker or the Wine Spectator, they already had a loyal following buying up almost every allocation. Of course, once these small production rare wines became coveted brands, the mailing lists were already closed and the prices were in the stratosphere. Even if you are able to move from a waiting list to an active allocation list, the amount you can buy is very limited. This is just one of the reasons we created special custom tours with unique insider access to up-and-coming luxury wine brands.

Cabernet is King
Beau Wine Tours is best known for our exceptional Napa Valley Collector’s Tour, where the true wine connoisseur can have the ultimate Napa Valley experience. These personally customized (and very exclusive) tours are for the serious collectors who are looking for truly ultra premium, limited production Cabernet wines to stock their cellars. These are the next generation, or soon-to-be “cult wine” brands that often require introduction or referral from a trusted source. As collector’s themselves, Thomas and Georgia Buck have personally developed relationships with some of the most celebrated winemakers and vintners in the world of Napa Valley cult Cabernets. We can introduce you to the next generation of collectable wine brands, often working with the very same winemakers of established cult wine names. These are the true “hidden gems.”
In the last decade, American wine consumers have become far more sophisticated than ever before. In their pursuit of fine wines, they have discovered Pinot Noir; the classic red Burgundy grape. Possibly one of the finest Pinot Noir regions in the world lies in Sonoma County. From Petaluma to the Mendocino County line is a broad AVA known as Sonoma Coast; the heart of it is occupied by the Russian River AVA and Green Valley AVA. This is the home of growing cult Pinot brands such as Paul Hobbs, Gary Farrell, Kosta Browne, Merry Edwards, Littorai, William Selyem, and Joseph Swan. If your cellar is branching out, or you are looking for exceptional Pinot Noirs, then Beau Wine Tours can connect you to the best sources on our Classic Pinot Collector’s Tour.
Some Tour Details…
A Collector’s Tour includes intimate private wine tastings, a catered gourmet luncheon at a private winery, and opportunities to tour vineyards, caves, and cellars with the principle people involved in making wine. These private, off-the-beaten-path tours go to the heart of Napa Valley and Sonoma for the most intimate touring experience. At a minimum, guests are expected to buy a case of wine per couple at each winery they visit, or take full advantage of any allocation offer. The Collector’s Tour is a full day wine tour averaging 8 hours (9:30am – 5:30pm), depending on the final itinerary. We usually visit three private wine estates. This tour is limited to 2- 6 people, and can be accommodated in a Mercedes S550, BMW 740i sedan, Escalade SUV, or CEO Sprinter. Prices start at $1,275 for one couple, and do not include possible tasting fees.
