The sixth Napa Valley Film Festival will soon fill our valley with the best of wine, food and films this coming November! From November 9th – 13th NVFF will host screenings and special event venues clustered in and around the four walk-able villages of Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga, where 120 films, 300 filmmakers, 150 wineries and 50 chefs actively engage audiences. Each town has a box-office, multiple screening venues, a wine pavilion, “pass holder perks” and special events taking place throughout each day and night.

How It Works: Films play three or more times, with a great proportion of the program playing four times, once in each of the four festival villages Sample the different venues through the Valley on different days. NVFF presents films in an eclectic mix of a dozen plus screening venues clustered in and around Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga. Venues include winery barrel rooms, an airplane hangar at the old Gliderport in Calistoga, various meeting halls and performing arts facilities, and Napa’s former movie palace – the Uptown Theatre. Seating capacity ranges from super intimate at just under 100 to over 1200 at the Lincoln Theater where they hold high-profile screenings and special events including the Celebrity Tributes, Awards Ceremony and Festival Gala.
Can’t Miss Parties: The cinematic storytelling inspires lively conversation, and NVFF’s one-of-a-kind events serve to build friendships and make your experience even more extraordinary. 2016 will feature a new venue at Silo’s jazz club in Napa alternating film screenings with live music. Food and Wine: Napa Valley Film Festival has integrated the Napa Valley’s incomparable food and wine into the festival experience. You can enjoy wine at nearly every screening venue and the wine pavilions open each day mid to late afternoon. Culinary demonstrations take place on the culinary stage at the Napa Riverfront. Food and wine are paired and served up at all of the special events, most notably the blowout Festival Gala but also at the Opening, Closing and Tribute Night Parties.
