But a full calendar of events just tops it all off. We’ll be sharing with you the “can’t miss” wine country events to add to your vacation calendar!

Cab Fest Napa ValleyCabFest Napa Valley
March 4th-6th, 2016

CabFest Napa Valley is a three-day celebration of world class Cabernet Sauvignon paired with culinary offerings from the top chefs in Napa Valley. The festival kicks off on the Lincoln Theater main stage with a Mat Kearney concert on Friday, March 4th, followed by an exclusive “Cigars and Guitars” after party. The wine tasting begins at 11am on Saturday in the Grand Foyer of the Lincoln Theater, where patrons will be able to sample wines and interact with representatives from over 100 wineries. The weekend is full of unique events including interactive symposiums lead by Wine Bible author Karen MacNeil, boutique tastings from small batch Cabernet producers and elegant VIP parties featuring special musical guests. Napa Valley MarathonNapa Valley Marathon
March 6th, 2016

The 38th annual Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon boasts one of the most beautiful courses in the world. The course runs the length of the famed Napa Valley wine-growing region along the Silverado Trail. It begins in Calistoga, famous for its geysers and curative waters, and winds south along the historic Silverado Trail to finish at Vintage High School in north Napa. Except for the last half-mile, the entire course is rural. Runners are treated to panoramic views of the valley, flowering fruit trees, and dormant vineyards carpeted with golden mustard flowers.

Dedicated to fostering and promoting quality road racing, the Napa Valley Marathon is known as the “Biggest Little Marathon in the West”. The Napa Valley Marathon has earned a reputation as a world-class event for outstanding runner support, attention to detail, and a beautiful point-to-point course. The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone will host the first ever Beefsteak at the Vintner’s Hall of Fame Barrel Room. Hosted by Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant, Beefsteak will feature food, beer, live music, and the camaraderie of the communal table. A great opportunity to enjoy a seated dinner in the impressive Barrel Room, not open to the public.

The Beefsteak originated in New York City in the mid-1800s by organizations wishing to raise money for politicians, friends, or any cause. The first ever Beefsteak at the CIA at Greystone welcomes both men and women to mark this great occasion, with utensils available for the faint of heart. Make an event out of the occasion!
