In early December, join the annual Hanukkah Hootenanny at Judd’s Hill Winery, or try the Feast of Seven Cultures at the Acacia House restaurant. The Napa Truffle Festival celebrates both the culinary and scientific sides of the highly-sought fungi known as the black truffle mushroom. The Westin Verasa is truffle-central, but the festival partners with many wineries for a jam-packed schedule of seminars, tastings, demonstrations, and even mushroom hunts. This is a great Napa Valley vacation idea for foodies and wine connoisseurs alike, and different ticket packages allow visitors to decide which experience is right for them. Napa Valley Restaurant Week
January 21 – 28, 2018
If your perfect Napa Valley Vacation revolves around food, you’ll love Napa Valley Restaurant Week. This event offers multi-course prix-fixe menus for lunch ($20.00) and for dinner ($36 – $46) at some of the highest rated restaurants in the world. Select locations offer wine pairings at a low rate as well, but check each restaurant’s menu to find out more. The comprehensive list of participating restaurants is pretty exhaustive, so here are some highlights: try the Restaurant at CIA at Copia, where the best and brightest new chefs study under masters, and add wine pairings for $10.00 at lunch, and $20.00 at dinner. Or enjoy lunch with a view at the restaurant at famous Auberge du Soleil, or dinner at celebrity chef Charlie Palmer’s brand new Charlie Palmer Steak. You can’t beat restaurant week in the culinary capital of the country.
