Festival Napa Valley began in 2006, inspired by the Russian National Orchestra’s annual summer residency in Northern California. Since then, it has grown to attract more than 10,000 guests each year to support its mission of bringing performers and artists of the highest international quality to the region and to nurture young talent and build new audiences for the arts. The Festival offers everything from wine tasting at the best of Napa Valley’s wineries, to free performances, to an all-day tasting event with only-in-Napa Valley vintners and chefs. Every guest has the opportunity to fully customize his or her Festival Napa Valley experience.
The Festival includes unique dining and wine tasting opportunities at the best wineries and restaurants in Napa Valley, musical and theatrical performances, after-parties, and other gatherings. Highlights include the all-day Taste of Napa, as well as the Arts for All Gala hosted at the legendary HALL winery and art collection. This year, the Gala will include performances from the hit musical Hamilton by visiting cast-members of the current production, as well as an auction to benefit arts education in Napa Valley.
The performers for this year’s Festival Napa Valley include darlings of opera and the Broadway stage, renowned conductors, orchestras, soloists, dance companies, and last but not least, American comedian and screen legend Bill Murray. And, check out the Festival’s special programs to see up and coming artists whose work represents the future of their discipline! Every performance and event is held at an iconic Napa Valley venue, including the fairy-tale Far Niente estate, the finest of Napa Valley’s hotels like the luxurious Auberge du Soleil, the stunning new Culinary Institute of America at Copia, and many others.
