Vice Versa Wines is a Napa Valley winery founded by Patrice Breton, known for its commitment to crafting high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The winery emphasizes small-lot production, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on expressing the unique terroir of each vineyard site. Vice Versa’s wines are highly esteemed, with cultwine.com highlighting the 2014 “Magnificent Seven” Cabernet Sauvignon as a 99-point wine. Patrice Breton founded the winery by combining his passions for creativity, science, art, and culture into the art of winemaking. The philosophy at Vice Versa revolves around achieving balance and capturing the essence of the grapes and the terroir. By prioritizing small-lot production, the winery can maintain detailed focus at every stage of the winemaking process.
Breton learned the craft of winemaking from Paul Hobbs, which provided him with valuable technical skills and access to a network of experienced winemakers and growers. The winemaking team includes Spencer Kelly, Philippe Melka, and Maayan Koschitzky.
