We continue our series of showcasing wineries from CabFest Napa Valley. A three day celebration of world class Cabernet Sauvignon paired with culinary offerings from the top chefs in Napa Valley. The weekend is full of unique events including interactive symposiums lead by Wine Bible author Karen MacNeil, boutique tastings from small batch Cab producers and elegant VIP parties featuring special musical guests. Beau Wine Tours is the preferred transportation partner and we invite you to join the celebration of wine, food and music on March 4th-6th at the Lincoln Theater. To get a “taste” of the event before March, book a wine tasting experience at some of the world class wineries that will be pouring!

Cornerstone Cellars located as well, in the middle of downtown Yountville, just a step away from some of the best restaurants in Napa Valley, The French Laundry, Bouchon, REDD, Bottega and Hurley’s in a white painted cottage, reminiscent of the French country side. You have the choice of the long bar for wine tasting or reserve a table, where you can have a private tasting with your group. According to the owners and winemaker, there is no finer place in the world to grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot than the Napa Valley.
They make what they believe in, not what the mass market demands. Making wines they love to drink expressing their vision of the 3 V’s: vineyard, vintage and variety. In late 2007 Mike Dragutsky and Craig Camp began the drive to make wines at Cornerstone Cellars that are defined by their elegance, dedication to terroir. They recruited Kari Auringer to join as their Napa Valley winemaker as they knew she shared their vision of balanced wines, driven by acidity and freshness. Today’s Cornerstone Cellars style is inspired by Camp’s European wine background, starting as an importer of Burgundy and Bordeaux then by three years working at wineries in Italy. This passion for balance combined with the entrepreneurial spirit of founder Dragutsky define the vision of Cornerstone Cellars as defined in their mission statement: “We are an atypical Napa Valley winery and we like it that way.” Taste what they’re talking about and come experience the history and ambiance with a wine tasting at Cornerstone Cellars.
