Our Story – Mission

Over the last two decades, Beau Wine Tours has undergone aTom Buck unique transformation. Under the leadership of Thomas Buck (company President and Wine Educator), what started as a small Marin County-based limousine company in 1996, has now grown into Napa Valley and Sonoma’s premier wine country destination tour service.

In 2001, Appellation Tours, Inc. (a corporation owned by Thomas Buck) acquired the fictitious naming rights and goodwill of a company called Beau Limousine Service in Novato. Thomas, already a wine enthusiast, immediately re-branded the company as Beau Wine Tours, with the conviction that superior customer service coupled with wine education was the key to creating unique experiences that would exceed his clients’ expectations. A new luxury service brand was born.

Thomas moved the company to Sonoma County where it could operate in the heart of wine country. Today’s current headquarters occupies 20,000 square feet of warehouse on over 3 acres in Carneros, bordering the Napa-Sonoma County line. The location allows for quick access to Napa Valley, Sonoma, and San Francisco. The company also maintains a second office in the town of Napa.

As Beau Wine Tours continued to grow, it was imperative that new Chauffeur Tour Guides were recruited from the best wine and hospitality sectors of Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Wine education and customer service is the cornerstone of Beau Wine Tours’ training program, and it never ends. Every sales and reservation staff member has an extensive wine, restaurant, or hotel hospitality background in the local region. They regularly attend training seminars and certification programs in both wine and tourism related forums. As a result of very high standards, Beau Wine Tours has experienced tremendous growth and success, earning accolades both locally and nationally.

Today, Beau Wine Tours represents the best luxury touring fleet and chauffeur tour guides in Napa Valley and Sonoma. We proudly work with the regions’ top organizations, including: Napa Valley Vintners, Napa Valley Grape Growers, Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers, and Sonoma County Vintners. We are also happy to have sponsored events and fundraisers such as Auction Napa Valley, Sonoma’s Wine Country Weekend, STOMP Harvest Auction, Staglin Music Festival for Mental Health, Napa Valley Film Festival, and many more. Each year Beau Wine Tours gives to local schools and charities, as part of our ongoing community support.
