San Francisco to Dry Creek Valley Wine Tour
– 9 Hour Day –
Dreaming of a weekend getaway to Italy without the hassle of boarding an airplane and making the 16+ hour flight across the Atlantic? What if we told you an Italian landscape was only 90 minutes away? We can whisk you away in one of our luxury vehicles from San Francisco to Dry Creek Valley and you may just think you’ve stepped foot in Tuscany.
Pack a light jacket for the cool mornings and bask in the afternoon sun as you embark on one of our Dry Creek Valley wine tours. Savor the bold taste of the area’s famous Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel wines. With over 28 wineries that call the Dry Creek Valley “home,” you will have plenty of tasting opportunities.
Get ready to admire the abundance of grapes in all their glory both on the narrow valley floor and the wooded hillsides. Interested in tasting the plethora of local produce grown in Dry Creek Valley? Feast on the fresh kiwi, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and olives.
For the ultimate Italian experience pair a Dry Creek Valley wine with a pizza from one of the local eateries. Dry Creek’s wines easily pair with a casual pizza as well as a juicy filet mignon. You can also pick up picnic materials in Healdsburg to enjoy at one of the wineries along the way. The atmosphere is casual and fun—a perfect getaway from the big city.
Before heading back to San Francisco, we can take you past Lake Sonoma for a picturesque photo opportunity of the lake and valley.

I gave Jeff a list of wineries we wanted to visit and one that we absolutely had to visit (A. Rafinelli). He did an amazing job putting together the itinerary (knowing drive times and proximities so we wouldn't feel rushed going from winery to winery). He arranged a private tasting at the Pezzi King vineyard (not the tasting room in Healdsburg but actually at the vineyard) where we had a fantastic view of the valley. Then he surprised us with a visit to Lambert Bridge (neither of us had heard of it) with great wines and an amazing picnic area before we finished the day with our private visit to Rafanelli. He was great, fun to talk to and knowledgeable about wine and the area. A great big thanks to Jeff, Brooke who booked the tour and everyone else at Beau.
