Join us for a full or half-day tour through the fabulous wine country! We look forward to scheduling the most appropriate and enjoyable wineries for your group. We provide custom tours via limousine, limo bus, or coaches, depending upon the size of your party (we can accommodate 10-300 guests). Our wine tours are all-inclusive—your package includes a local, knowledgeable tour guide; all tasting fees; and exceptional lunch/dinner options. Our goal is for you and your guests to have an enjoyable, memorable, and stress-free day!
Our California historic tours visit sites dating back to the time of General Vallejo, the Mission Era, and the first wineries of the region. Your tour may include visits to Buena Vista (the first commercial winery in Sonoma); to Charles Krug (its counterpart in Napa Valley); and to Greystone (the original Christian Brothers winery). Literary buffs will appreciate seeing Jack London State Historic Park and Museum or going to Robert Louis Stevenson State Park on Mount St. Helena, the inspiration for Spyglass Hill in Treasure Island. As a special treat, some guests may find interest in a tour by General Vallejo himself, dressed in full early California regalia!
If your group has an interest in incredible architecture, we can take you to some of the many local wineries known for their noteworthy design. These include: the “ghost wineries” of the late 19th century; a wine cave dug by Chinese laborers following the completion of the trans-continental railroad; and modern architectural wonders such as Opus One, Clos Pegase, and Artesa. You’ll surely be treated to unique and unforgettable examples of local architecture.
Horticulturalists and garden lovers are attracted to this area for its many varied and beautiful grounds. We look forward to showing you Luther Burbank’s Home and Gardens; Cornerstone (the landscape gardeners’ outdoor museum); a sensory garden at Belvedere Winery; the beautiful gardens at Ferrari-Carano Winery; and the red and white wine sensory gardens at Kendall-Jackson Wine Center.
The Napa and Sonoma regions are dotted with many noteworthy outdoor sculptures and indoor galleries. Our experienced tour guides will enlighten you about the art displayed at wineries, parks, and public areas throughout the area, or take you on a guided sculpture walk. Among others, art enthusiasts will enjoy:
- A visit to Ca’Toga (Italian-born muralist Carlo Marchiori’s Palladian Villa) or to his Galleria D’Arte in Calistoga.
- The Di Rosa Preserve, with its memorable outdoor sculptures.
- The Hess Collection’s modern art gallery.
- The history of “Peanuts” at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa.
